Looking to hire an Embedded Software Engineer for an exciting Electronics company in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will be working within the development team as an Embedded Software Engineer developing software for proximity detection, communication and embedded products.

This is a fully onsite opportunity. Must live in close proximity to Pittsburgh, PA.

Description

Embedded software design, analysis, and development of real time applicationsValidation, testing, and troubleshooting software solutionsTechnical analysis and comparison of existing products.Collaboration with global engineering staff in the development of productsAnswer customer questions and technical issues regarding embedded productsPerforms other functions and duties as needed and/or as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS Degree educated in relevant subject.

Experience in embedded software development using C/C++.

Previous work experience with PIC, Atmel or other embedded processor is required.

C/C++ programmingUnderstanding of microcontroller architecturesCommitment to testing and troubleshooting solutionsBasic electronics knowledgeOperate an oscilloscope, multimeter, and signal generatorFamiliar with I2C, SPI, and UART communicationExperience working in small product development teams.Experience with JIRA, Git, or other software configuration tool is desirable.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00
