AGCO is seeking an **Embedded Software Engineering Intern** to join our team based in **Fargo, North Dakota** . This is a full-time internship during the summer of 2025. The Embedded Software Engineering Intern will assist in projects that deliver disruptive solutions that enable greater productivity and sustainability in agriculture. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and debug applications for microcontrollers (MCU) and embedded Linux systems. You will gain hands-on experience with real-time and resource-constrained systems. **Your Impact** + Assist in the design and implementation of embedded software in C/C++ for MCU and embedded Linux platforms + Support the integration of software with hardware components + Work closely with other project team members to ensure the final deliverable comes together in a way that meets or exceeds the requirements + Work in a cross-functional project team to ensure designs meet necessary cost, quality, and can be produced or distributed efficiently **Your Experience and Qualifications** + Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field + Experience with C/C++ in a microcontroller and/or Linux context + Experience with Linux environments, including command-line tools and scripting + Ability to read and understand technical documents such as schematics, datasheets and application notes + Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous experience interfacing with hardware (e.g. GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C) + Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques + Experience with Git + Knowledge of common software design considerations We value inclusion and recognize the innovation a diverse workforce delivers to our farmers.
