Your role:
Develop test strategies and plans for software development projects, outlining testing objectives, methodologies, and resource requirements to ensure comprehensive validation and verification of software deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scope, requirements, and success criteria, aligning testing activities with project timelines and milestones
Execute test cases and procedures to validate and verify software functionality, performance, and reliability, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory specifications.
Analyze test results and findings, identifying defects, anomalies, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for corrective actions and process enhancements.
Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports, documenting testing activities, results, and outcomes for traceability, auditability, and knowledge transfer purposes.
Investigate and troubleshoot software issues, defects, and failures reported during testing activities, utilizing debugging tools, techniques, and methodologies to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to software quality, reliability, and performance, and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize adverse effects.
Manage testing activities and deliverables within software development projects, including resource allocation, task scheduling, progress tracking, and milestone reporting, to ensure timely and successful completion of testing objectives.
Coordinate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to define project requirements, priorities, and dependencies, and proactively address any issues or obstacles that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
Your background:
Software - Functional testing of Infotainment
Hands on experience in Testing Autosar Code, BSW, Cyber security, Fault injections, Audio, Tuners testing and good knowledge on CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, Ethernet and Diagnostics
Test case design, test case automation, test case execution against Software Requirements and Software Architecture for automotive products
Ability to identify and perform regression tests, smoke tests, acceptance tests against the changes in Software
Ability to execute Test reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions
Work experience with Automated Test environment /Manual Test benches, Test environment setup and debugging
Tools: TRACE32, Lauterbach debugger(or other), CANoe, Kvaser, QFIL, Renesas
Mandatory Programming skills: Python, CAPL
Preferrable Programming Skills: C, C++
Experience of working in Agile development environment is an added advantage
Good team player, exhibits good written and communication skills
