JOB OVERVIEW

This position will perform a variety of routine and repetitive embroidery operations and procedures. Responsible for operating, monitoring and adjusting machines used in the process for embroidering product as required and defined by approved production orders. Responsible for the preparation of components for embroidery.  Works under general supervision where operations are specified by written and verbal instructions and established procedures.

Operates embroidery machinery Prepare product for customization which includes, hooping material and setting up embroidery machinesGather required threads for embroidery designPrepare backing materials for all operator stationsSelect proper hoop size for design and productRead and comprehend embroidery proof and production order informationLoad embroidery machine with design and program colorsMonitor embroidery machine operation to detect potential problemsAbility to load embroidery threadAbility to adjust bobbin and thread tensions Set up and configure machines for bags, headcovers, towels and caps Performing all tasks required for finishing goods and accessoriesPerforms routine SAP transactionsPre-inspect finished goods

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1-2 years experience working with Embroidery and sewing machines High school diploma or equivalent Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsMust be able to read and interpret instructions and procedures
