Business Area: Content Design, Quality, and Compliance 

Job Purpose/Mission/Summary

Support the hardware development team both Electrical and Mechanical in ensuring EMC design best practices are considered in the design of mechanical shields & etc., provide EMC technical guidance lectures and training, design reviews, near field test analysis, pre-qualification test, EMC debug and troubleshooting.

Formulate EMC test plan for pre-qualification, verification and official EMC testing. Monitor, report and manage approved EMC test service contracts from start to completion. Provide project testing lead time estimates to customers. Documents, reviews and approves technical test reports.

Maintain, update and set roadmap for EMC capabilities to accommodate most current standards of EMC testing and customer requirements.

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Schematic and PCB layout analysis skills using PCB & schematic viewing and editing tools. EMC standards and test methods knowledge. Quality Management System environment (ISO9001, ISO/IEC 17025) knowledge. Electromagnetic simulation, set-up and analysis skills. Product key development cycle knowledge. A leader and a team player. Strong English communication skills. Test reports & technical files creation and presentation skills. Ability to program LabView or C++ is an advantage. Education, Experience, and Certifications Basic Requirements: BS or MS Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering >5 years analog and/or digital hardware development experience >2 years' experience in testing, designing and working with EMC/EMI Registered Electronics Engineer / Electrical Engineer INARTE EMC Engineer (Preferred)
