*Completion of the proposed separation of Kidney Care from Baxter into a standalone company (to be named Vantive) remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.
Main responsibilities include preparation and recording of all accounting transactions and performing account reconciliations with the focus on revenues and accrued liabilities/expenses.
Processing (Collecting data/calculating/ posting) in JDE Ewards system manual journal entriesApproving and certification in Backline of manual journal entries with quality and agreed deadlines • Reconciliation of selected B/S balances in Blackline in line with internal policiesExecuting assigned accounting activitiesSupport regional and global reporting requirements for all areas under Regional Controllership responsibility (e.g. monthly B/S and P&L reviews).Executing monthly/quarterly/annual close processes and work closely with Regional Controllership teams in line with agreed deadlinesEnsure that processes comply with US GAAP, company policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements, and local rules and regulationsExecute the Sox controls and operational controlsParticipate in continuous process improvements; Provide audit supportTake part in transformation activities, projects, system enhancement, ad hoc accounting activities, etc.Cooperate within accounting team, using different channels of cooperation.Who are we looking for?
Finance professionalwith minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong analyst with excellent communication skills, who can be diplomatic, flexible, and has a “can do” mindset.
Excellent customer communication skills with high proficiency in speaking and writing in English.
Good knowledge of US GAAP.
Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or part qualified ACCA/CIMA/CPA.
Experience in JDE, Blackline, Alteryx and W-Desk is an advantage.
