EMEA Banking Planning and Analysis - Associate

Financial Analysis is responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams are responsible for a wide range of activities including forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g. dashboards), and reporting to the line of business CFOs on pipeline and forecasting.

As an Associate in Banking Planning & Analysis within the Financial Planning and Analysis team for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), you will be tasked with tracking crucial financial metrics such as revenues, headcount, and expenses. Your role will involve delivering value-added financial reporting and analysis, and assisting with strategic direction and decision-making. You will be expected to maintain close interactions across the Financial Planning & Analysis teams, Product Controllers, and Business Managers, as well as the line of business Chief Financial Officer and business.

Job responsibilities

Prepare materials for IB country / industry business reviews for the senior heads in the business    Partner with the product, country and regional business managers to drive the pipeline and revenue forecast and expense management agenda. Assist the team in annual planning process across revenues, expenses, headcount and balance sheet, both in terms of preparation of templates and data integrity   Support the senior members of the P&A team to conduct in-depth analysis on various business initiatives Benchmark business performance versus competitors across regions, industries, products Manage weekly and monthly BAU reporting for Business  Support the preparation of materials for quarterly EMEA business reviews  Drive productivity initiatives to enhance and automate current processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Min 3 years of experience at similar roles within financial industry  Advanced Excel skills along with power point knowledge Pro-active and problem solving mind-set with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions Strong organizational and time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multi-task Enthusiastic, self-motivated and effective under pressure Strong analytical and numeric skills, excellent attention to detail Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills Ability to work well independently and partner effectively Disciplined approach to managing processes and controls with a view to improve
