EMEA Business Manager (m/f/d) - Semiconductor Validation

The semiconductor and electronics ecosystem, especially commercial wireless driven by the advancement of 5G and new 6G technologies, is constantly evolving along with the advancement in the mixed signal domain such as power management and sensors which are set for a continued  market growth. In recent years, Emerson Test & Measurement business unit has developed a strong position in this dynamic market, with world-renowned capabilities from RF to Mix-Signal. The team has used automation software to establish a differentiated position in standards compliant validation and production test solutions. 
 

We are now looking for a Business Manager focusing on the EMEA commercial market to lead and accelerate our new business growth strategy in the areas of Semiconductor Validation and Electronics Solutions (SVES). Due to the highly innovative nature and pace of change, these solutions are at the groundbreaking of automated test tools and methods.   


In EMEA, we need a dedicated and influential Business Manager. This person will drive new business growth and implement Semiconductor and Electronics Business strategies. They will also support our top customers and encourage a diverse cross-functional team to complete projects on time. A keen ability to prioritize and negotiate is essential to adapt the team to our customer needs.
 

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Applying a mix of strong RF and Mixed-Signal domain expertise within the commercial space, you will collaborate closely across multiple functions like sales, R&D, AE, and other business managers to drive customer opportunities to success. Refine our business strategy, identify target accounts, and complete aligned account objectives to validate NI's investments and secure customer loyalty.   Collaborate with solutions marketers, product managers, and R&D team members to create technical content and drive business growth. Work closely with NI test integration partners to identify new markets and jointly develop new business opportunities.   Find & develop relationships with subject matter experts and leadership within the target customer accounts, and position innovative solutions to customer needs.    Who You Are:
You use customer insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. You balance own interests with others’ interests.
    For This Role, You Will Need: Education background in bachelors or master’s STEM degree required, Electrical Engineering preferred Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams through influence to deliver on business results. Experience in working with varied cultures & countries, as part of a global organization. Technical domain knowledge and/or test system development experience in the Semiconductor and Electronics RF and Mixed-Signal domains. Relevant hands-on experiences on business development, sales, technical service, product development and market development in telecommunication industry Excellent verbal and written English skills required. Good communication skills including active listening, influencing and negotiation. Critical ability to adapt communication style depeding on different audiences, from engineering teams to executive business leaders. Regular travel time within EMEA region (25%) and some international travel required.
 
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Proven understanding of test and measurement instruments such as Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, Function/Signal Generators, Source Measure Units, DMMs, RF Analyzers and Generators. Previous NI instrumentation experience ideal. Knowledge of high-speed digital communication, data converters, SERDES. RFIC and/or System level knowledge of the 5G RAN architecture and PHY layer test methodologies for both lab validation and volume production. Experience working for Semiconductor and Electronics companies in Test Engineering roles in Lab Validation or Production environments.
