Your role and responsibilitiesABB Electrification Procurement is a key function that delivers value to ABB by leveraging market knowledge, subject matter expertise and business insights in the procurement of goods and services and the management of ABB Electrification’s third party spend. Through collaboration with our external suppliers and internal business partners, the Indirect Materials & Services team of the Electrification Procurement organization helps writing the future of safe, smart, and sustainable electrification. As the EMEA Category Manager for Material and Services, you are responsible for the development of the Category Strategies, execution of the sourcing initiatives and related negotiations as well as for the support of various projects from the procurement/sourcing perspective.Based on your deep subject matter expertise, you engage and partner with senior Business stakeholders to deliver the overall Category performance and savings targets.The objective of this position is to leverage the purchasing power of ABB on a regional level and to achieve the set of performance targets for these key categories: Materials and Services (e.g. Consumables, Industrial Vehicles, Professional services). Location: Italy or PolandPosition type: Hybrid/Remote Your responsibilities:• Stakeholder management: Understanding business priorities and challenges, building strong partnerships with the stakeholders and successfully engaging with various functions. Qualifications for the roleUniversity degree, with business or engineering degree preferable5+ years of in-depth sourcing and category management experience or equivalent extensive experience working in the category for which the role is intended to support.Excellent communication and negotiations skills with an ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects and deliver sourcing initiativesProven capability in change management and stakeholder managementStrong result-orientationExcellent contract management expertiseSAP Ariba including eAuctioning, PowerBI, Microsoft Excel and PPTBusiness level fluency in English
