Role description: As J&J Innovative Medicine (J&J IM) we are responsible to cultivate overall innovation within the pharmaceutical eco-system. In this respect the EMEA Trade Excellence team (as part of the Finance organization) has developed a program to centrally lead end-to-end Clinical Trial Sales: selling of J&J IM commercialized products to other companies to be used as comparators for clinical studies.
This role is instrumental for the J&J IM organization as CTS contributes significantly to the EMEA sales. The key objectives of this role are to support the end-to end sales process management, from quotation to the delivery of our commercially approved goods, forecast accuracy and competitive intelligence gathering in close collaboration with the EMEA CTS Manager.
Internally, this role will be working closely with a broad multifunctional team, including but not limited to Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Quality, European Strategy Organization (ESO) and Business Technology (IT) at both regional and country levels.
Externally, the person will co-act as go-to for EMEA customers, mainly CROs (clinical research organizations) and Pharma companies, ensuring a steady supply of comparator drugs.
This position is enriched with 15% assignment supporting the EMEA Finance Business Unit team, allowing the selected candidate to broaden his/her scope of knowledge and network to mainly assist in coordinating budget cycles for J&J IM Commercial across the EMEA region, contributing to alignment with organizational goals and Collaborate with Business Unit Finance partners to identify optimization opportunities and support implementation.
Role & Responsibilities
+ Act as single point of contact for CT (Clinical Trial) customers in the EMEA region via the dedicated CTS Mailbox.
+ Perform monthly the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for CTS in close connection with Supply Chain and regional Finance teams
+ Analyze and reporting on CT results, Drive Quarter close process to ensure delivery of financial targets, Perform sales analysis on brand and clinical trial level, and report on key business drivers.
+ Provide quotations to customer using the CTS Tool, handle order intake, and follow through the order until shipment in close collaboration with local affiliate.
+ Retrieve and Provide documentation for deliveries.
+ Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationship with customers and internal network.
+ Serve as bridge across different internal functions or across several J&J IM affiliates to provide agile, high-quality customer service.
+ Maintain the repository, and report intel on clinical trials landscape to the commercial organization.
+ Assist in coordinating budget cycles for J&J IM Commercial across the EMEA region, contributing to alignment with organizational goals.
+ Collaborate with Business Unit Finance partners to identify optimization opportunities and support implementation.

**Qualifications**
Essential:
+ Minimum Master's Degree required (preferably in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field).
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
+ Proficient MS Office particularly Excel.
+ Strong team-player across virtual teams.
+ Well-structured, with the ability to work autonomously and in a pro-active manner.
+ Fast learner and ability to adapt to the changing needs of customers and the business.
Desirable:
+ Professional experience, will be preferred but not required, in finance, customer service, supply chain or business intelligence.
+ Familiar with using J&J technology (ERP platforms like SAP Europe2 and SAP Galaxy, and SigniFi tools like Analysis for Office and Anaplan).
+ Knowledge of J&J IM portfolio and good customer centricity.
+ Excellent judgment, problem identification and solving skills.
+ Able to turn uncertainty into opportunities.
