As part of the EMEA Customer Projects Operations Team, the Customer Project Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing and improving the efficiency of project delivery processes. They ensure smooth functioning, develop new techniques, modify existing process flows, and coordinate process improvement projects within transactional processes that involve multiple functions. The Customer Project Process Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that project processes are well-defined, documented, and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
What you’ll do:
Provide the necessary guidance and oversight to ensure that processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with project objectives
Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance operational performance. Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions to improve productivity and quality
Define the process mission, vision, tactics, goals, objectives, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and measures that are aligned with organizational strategies
Responsible for implementing new/revised processes and tools, defining rollout roadmaps, and delivering training when appropriate
Continuously assess and improve project processes. This involves gathering feedback from stakeholders, analyzing process performance data, and identifying areas for enhancement
By actively seeking opportunities for improvement, the Customer Project Process Engineer helps drive efficiency and effectiveness in project execution
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering5+ years of business experience, preferably in Project Engineering or Project ManagementSkills:
Experience in electrical/mechanical, utilities, data center, or equivalent industries
Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement techniques
Experience applying Lean tools in a high-complexity environment
Experience in program management, deploying, and coordinating the standard utilization of various tools and processes within a specific business
Must demonstrate financial acumen, strategic thinking ability, and strong business acumen
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills throughout all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of initiatives in a highly diverse and matrixed organization
Strong ability to achieve positive results
Ability to influence decision-making of key stakeholders within the business
Acts as a role model in line with Eaton’s ethical standards of conduct and leadership values and attributes
Fluent in English
