EMEA Equity Research – European Business Services Team Head – Executive Director

Morgan’s number 1 ranked Global Research franchise, our team provides actionable ideas and thematic insights that empower institutional clients to make strategic investment decisions. Collaborate with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading teams globally to deliver thought leadership and build strong client relationships.

 As an Executive Director within our Equity Research Team, you will be a crucial part to the success of our Business Services Research team. Your extensive professional experience and enthusiasm for analyzing companies and thematic trends are highly valued. Your established expertise in the Business Services sector is recognized, and we eagerly anticipate the unique insights you will contribute to our team.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with colleagues to provide thought leadership to institutional clients in the sector. Maintain and update valuation models and databases. Prepare materials for the regular publication of research reports, including data analysis and presentation. Contribute to writing research reports, including quarterly results alerts, stock reports, and thematic pieces. Communicate with institutional investors, company representatives, and internal clients (Sales, Sales-Traders, and Traders). Stay abreast of company and industry developments.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Enthusiasm for a team-focused environment where each individual’s insight and expertise is valued. Analytical approach to building and maintaining financial models. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Strong numeracy and attention to detail. Proven track record of relationship-building skills. Ability to distil complex issues into specific conclusions. Extensive experience in the Business Services sector.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence, and approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
