As EMEA Workstation Business Management Global Account, you are leading the workstation business development within the Global Account customer segment for EMEA (ie 16 markets). You will work with your WS GA BDM counter part at market level as well as the GA Vertical Segment Team Leader to define the Acquisition play and growth initiatives. Workstations are critical to Lenovo’s future success and a key part of our solutions Sales transformation especially with Gen AI reshaping the modus operandi of many Vertical Market segments. You will contribute to the success of the Workstation growth and in that sense also working very closely with EMEA and WW Product Teams.
Key Interactions with local Workstation Team Leaders, GA Vertical Segment Lead, Strategic Alliance Partners (nVidia, AMD, Itel, MS, Specific ISVs), EMEA Finance and EMEA Marketing Team.
What You will do:
- Accelerate GA workstations end user sales by working with GA Segment Leads and local WS GA BDM : o Identify WS acquisition accounts per Vertical Segment and work with local team on an attack plan. Track execution of the strategic growth initiatives and support team as requiredo Identify & share best practices across organization o Escalate sales execution blockers and work with organization to resolve o Drive GA seeding programs with objective to capture end-user feedback
- Contribute to solution transformation o Identify and provide inputs toward the development of key Vertical sales plays (AEC, M&E, O&G, FSI, Healthcare…) o Scale the knowledge of the vertical subject matter experts within the sales community by shaping trainings & sales materials targeted to end user sales. Share examples of key solution wins in the region
- Monitor weekly sales performance and identify key actions to deliver Qterly Targets o Ensure sufficient pipeline of opportunities (including Visual and Service Attach) to achieve financial results o Manage/Track/Report GA Bid Fundings and liaise with Strategic Alliance Partners (Intel/AMD/nVidia) for MeetComp o Ensure profit optimization and work on a margin recovery plans for top bleeding accounts
- Lead Customer Advisory Forum ideally with a quarterly frequency
- Promote and drive the ‘One Lenovo’ ambition, working collaboratively with all Lenovo product groups and teams, especially the ISG (Server), the Workstation being the best link from PC to Server.
What we expect from You:
• Degree in Business with a strong analytical discipline • Minimum of 10 years experience in product / business management. Understands technology & it’s practical application especially related to Gen AI / contribution to customer requirements.• Superior problem solving & analysis skills, commitment & action oriented • Superior verbal and written communication skills. Results driven, team player able to effectively manage virtual teams• Proven track record in European product management
