EMEA Global Analytics and Advisory – Ratings and Counterparty Credit Advisory

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Analytics and Advisory team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in London, but we are flexible regarding the location and it does not necessarily need to be in the UK. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. Our team provides Ratings and Counterparty Credit Advisory solutions for the (re)insurance market within the EMEA and LAC regions, focusing on delivering exceptional service and insights to our clients.

We will count on you to:

Lead the production of gap reports, build and review rating agency capital models, prepare peer analyses, and assist clients in developing their rating agency presentations.

Prepare capital stresses and scenario analysis using the rating agencies’ capital models.

Engage with prospective clients and brokers to discuss our Ratings Advisory offerings and how we can support them.

Write and/or review analytical reports on (re)insurance companies for brokers and clients to assess their performance and financial strength.

Establish and maintain relationships with brokers, (re)insurers, and clients to support new business development within ratings and counterparty credit advisory.

What you need to have:

Deep knowledge of the (re)insurance industry, either through experience with a rating agency, a ratings advisor, a consultancy/advisory firm focused on ratings advisory, or a (re)insurance company.

Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Confidence in engaging with clients at the C-Suite level and offering solutions.
