EMEA HR Regulatory Compensation - Associate

Compensation as part of our talent development strategy, is fundamental to our goal to attract, retain and motivate our workforce.

As an Associate in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Regulatory Compensation Team you will be responsible for monitoring and implementing EMEA remuneration regulations which impact the Firm’s businesses and functions across the region.

This encompasses regulations impacting both the Banking and Investment Firms industries - primarily CRD V, IFPR, AIFMD and UCITS V - including relevant remuneration policies and processes, remuneration governance, regulatory reporting and disclosures. 

Job responsibilities

Monitors external regulatory developments and assesses impact for the Firm Supports the annual review of “material risk taker” (MRT) identification methodology and day-to-day management of the MRT population  Prepares of Board and Remuneration Committee materials on remuneration governance matters Prepares / reviews of quantitative and qualitative regulatory submissions Prepares / reviews of public remuneration disclosures  Updates applicable Remuneration Policies in line with relevant regulations and practice  Drafts responses to regulators on remuneration practices and processes Maintains and implements up to date policies and procedures Partners on regulatory remuneration matters within HR, and for Control Function partners and the business

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Ability to distil and articulate simply complex regulatory matters  Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel  Strong analytical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  Pro-active approach to project management and prioritizing work-load Proven ability to work independently with broad range of stakeholders Thorough attention to detail Pro-active in raising issues and identifying opportunities for process improvements

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Writing skills in both German and English preferred
