EMEA Supply Chain Manager


Job Description:

The EMEA Supply Chain Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing team activities supporting the outlook planning related to production, shipments, and inventories (PSI).  As a leader, the role will be responsible for ensuring that department objectives are accomplished through the team through effective mentorship, guidance, and professional development efforts.

Analyzes, develops, and implements supply chain strategies in collaboration with various departments to support on-time delivery & inventory reduction strategic goals.Leads global PSI (Production, Sales & Inventory) process maintaining manufacturing production, purchase orders, inventories, and material flow in level loaded fashion for entire supply chain in the organization.Manages business savings and provides team members equal opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects.Maximizes service levels while simultaneously minimizing risks and reducing total inventory and cost throughout the entire supply chain.Supports the escalation of potential risks and proactively presents strategic solutions.Approves revisions to the planning schedule according to the qualification plan, established priorities, and availability of parts and material.Champions strong collaboration with supply chain leadership and finance to support quarterly excess & obsolete (E&O) review, analysis, and disposition.Approves drafted Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to distribution, inventory management, and material processing.Monitors the team’s capacity and presents solutions to challenges that may negatively impact department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Proactively informs leadership of any foreseen issues or challenges.Applies expertise and mentorship with root cause investigations and the implementation of countermeasures to counteract findings within department procedures.Champions, participates and provides development opportunities to the team in continuous improvement activities under the Envista Business System (EBS).Demonstrates CircLe values as an employee and leader within Envista, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.Monitors performance and supports the professional development of team members using the Envista P4G framework.Guides team members through the problem-solving process to avoid or minimize excess or scrap risk after product launch. Travels up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required including working with ERP systems (i.e., Oracle, SAP, etc.)2 - 3 years’ experience in a leadership position related to materials planning, production control, purchasing, forecasting, customer service and/or master scheduling.5+ years’ experience in materials planning, production control and/or purchasing.APICS Certification is highly preferred.Expertise with MRP, CRP, and MPSStrong with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel (Expertise Level)Strong analytical and mathematical skillsGood business acumen including business management fundamentalsAbility and aptitude to quickly learn business computer systemsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to discern the root cause or core need through a seeking-to-understand approachProfessional and effective verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong presentation skillsAbility to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulnessDetail-oriented, with the ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExpertise knowledge in lean concepts/tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kanban and Kaizen Certified Practitioner is preferred
