Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Location: Greenville, NC Job Type: Full-Time - Contract - 13 weeks Shift/Sched: 36hrs - 7p-7a Department: Emergency Room Hospital Float Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: + Will float to 3 different hospitals in Greenville, NC area + Facilities 30 mins from each other + Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room. + Triage patients based on acuity and prioritize care accordingly. + Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as needed. + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. + Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. + Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. + Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed. + Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing. Qualifications: + Current Registered Nurse license in NC or Multi State + Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room or similar setting. + Trauma Level 1 Hospital Experience + BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS and TNCC preferred + Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
