Responsible for supervising the support and development of IT operations for the Emergency Department Information Systems (EDIS) to ensure a smooth and effective optimized EMR system in the Emergency Department. Acts as an EDIS subject matter expert. Responsibilities include supervising and training IT staff working on the EDIS. Works closely with ED leadership. Additional responsibilities will include other ancillary system support. 

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or  related field AND more than 3 years professional experience in the areas of healthcare information technology, application implementation and support, and/or project management related to emergency department information systems.  Licensure or certification in clinical area/ clinical application or Healthcare experience is highly desirable. Exceptional organizational and time management skills required in order to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring they are accomplished within the required timeline and meet project expectations. Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills required along with effective oral and written communication skills.
