Job Description​

Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit, MO is looking for an experienced Paramedic to join the team! Our Paramedics perform duties within their scope of practice in an Emergency Room facility setting, under the direction of the on-duty provider. We are seeking a paramedic who is a natural leader and will go above and beyond for their peers, patients, and patients’ loved ones. This position will give you the opportunity to work with a supportive and solution focused team and leadership. This team builds each other up, celebrates successes, and helps each other learn and work towards continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Shift: Full Time Mids (12p-12a)

The Work:

Care for Emergency Department patientsPerforms patient care tasks under the direction of a provider  Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures

Requirements: must have a current Paramedic Certification in the applicable state, with at least 1 year of Paramedic experience.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
