Statement of Purpose:
The ED pharmacist shall optimize medication use through participation in direct patient care rounds, medication order review, medication therapy monitoring, participation in procedures that utilize high-risk medications, resuscitation, medication procurement and preparation, provision of medication information and documentation of associated interventions.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy, Pharm D preferred
Certification / License: Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Massachusetts
Experience: Health system experience required. Emergency Medicine experience preferred
ACLS preferred
PALS preferred
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
