St. Joseph Healthcare, a member of Covenant Health, is seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join our busy Emergency Department in Bangor, Maine. We are looking for a candidate available in the summer of 2025 who has completed a US-based Emergency Medicine residency. While attending Emergency Medicine experience is preferred, new residency graduates are encouraged to apply. Opportunity Highlights: + Flexible annual contract hours between 1,242 and 1,656, allowing you to tailor your workload and lifestyle preferences, with full benefits eligibility. + Nonprofit hospital employed group, PSLF eligible position with $20,000 annual student loan forgiveness offered as needed. + Variable staffing based on daily volumes, 51-56 hours of clinician coverage daily, with 3-4 clinicians working together during peak times. + Non-physician clinicians work collaboratively and sign their own charts. + Epic EMR with ample time during shifts to complete charting. Although rare, hours over shift are paid as worked. + Patient-centered model focused on providing quality time with patients and serving those most in need.
