Emergency Management Coordinator
Job DescriptionCoordinates matters relating to emergency preparedness training, drills, and regulatory compliance.Responsible for assisting with the developing of All Hazards Emergency Training activities.Coordinates in collaboration with the Director of Facility in assisting with organizing, developing, and execution of emergency preparedness trainings, included but not limited to Tabletop exercises, Modified, and Full Scale Drills and exercises.Keeps accurate records of Emergency Preparedness supplies and equipment as received and deployed, keeping an accurate inventory that is neat, organized, and up to date at all times, ready for unannounced audits.Collaborates with all local emergency response agencies, Regional Coalitions, and other local Emergency Operations, and UMMS facilitiesDocuments minutes at EOC Team meetings.  Coordinates the collection of EOC Performance Indicators (PI) data from stakeholders, records for EOC PI presentation monthly.Documents EOC meeting minutes and distributes appropriately.  Coordinates with appropriate EOC team members reviewed, and drafted changes of Management Plans to present at EOC meetings.Assists Director of Facilities in developing EOC Annual Evaluation reporting.

Candidates should have a background in Emergency Management.

In addition to the below "Essential" responsibilities, candidates should have experience with the following:

QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED Required. Formal Education/Training equivalent to an Associate’s Degree requiring knowledge and experience of a specialized field with some level of Emergency Management, Disaster PreparednessThree (3) years of experience in hospital-based emergency response planning and exercise development and execution is preferred.Military or public emergency response experience may be considered in lieu of hospital experience.Additional Information
