Get to Know Your Team: Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region’s Level II Trauma and tertiary care center and home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue. Responsibilities The Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for planning, training, response, resource coordination, and other emergency management activities, both within the hospital and in coordination with the Regional Healthcare Coalition as well as other local state agencies. Serves as the Regional Readiness and Response Coordinator (RRRC) to support the Regional Healthcare Coalition (RHCC). Qualifications Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, emergency management, or related field. Certified Emergency & Disaster Professional (CEDP), Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator (CHEC), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent. Familiarity with CMS emergency management standards. NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 required. Preferred Job Requirements: ICS 300 and 400 preferred. (must be completed within 1 year of hire).
