Works under the supervision of Director of Security/Emergency Management & Dispatch Center. or their designee. Will be the person responsible for coordinating Emergency Management Program including the Emergency Operations Plan and Emergency sections of the Branch Operations Manuals. Will be responsible to respond to incidents to support all functions of incident management and incident command.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure
1. Emergency Management, Fire, EMS, or Law Enforcement experience required.
2. Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. 10 or more years of experience will be substituted for the Degree requirement.
3. Knowledge of Healthcare and/or The Joint Commission Environment of Care standards is preferred but not required.
4. Minimum 3 years related experience and knowledge of federal , state, and local codes.
Knowledge and Skills
1. Interpersonal Skills: Must interact well with patients, staff and visitors.
2. Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Good eye, hand, foot coordination with ability to
listen and speak well.
3. The successful candidate will have to pass competencies for this position.
