This position serves as anEmergency Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) Department of Honeywell FM&T. This individual will assist in the development of activities and programs directed toward preventing accidents, eliminating health and safety hazards and achieving compliance with current fire protection codes, standards, regulations, and Department of Energy (DOE) directives.
Duties and Responsibilities\rResponsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and reviewing plans for emergency management operations.Applies fact-finding and investigative techniques, oral and written communications, and development of presentations and reports.Conduct training with a wide range of emergency management stakeholders.Assist with the operational readiness of the KCNSC Emergency Response Organization (ERO).Plan and execute the emergency exercises using subject matter expertise and hazards analysis information.Plan and execute fire and tornado drills across all buildings within KCNSC.Responsible for support functions such as the integration of emergency management with HSE, Security, and COOP staff.Develop and maintain Prime Contract deliverables and programmatic documents such as the All-Hazards Planning Basis, Emergency Planning Hazards Assessment, , Emergency Exercise Plans, and After-Action Reports under DOE Order 151.1D.Provide analytical support to meet other Emergency Management requirements under DOE Order 151.1D.Perform other duties as required.You Must Have\rBachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Safety, Environmental, Fire Protection, Emergency Management or related field and two years of experience in HS&E activitiesAbility to travel up to 5% of the timeAbility to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the businessUnited States CitizenshipRegular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this jobAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)We Value\rAbility to work independently.A working knowledge of DOE Order 151.1D, Comprehensive Emergency Management.Experience with a hazardous material release analyses and a strong knowledge of hazardous materials desired. Certifications include but are not limited to: Hazardous Materials Operations, Technician, or Specialist training or Hazwoper Level I, II, III or IV.Experience with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP).Knowledge of WebEOC and AtHoc administration.Knowledge of a chemical management system, the Global Harmonization System (GHS), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and other associated resources.Additional InformationJOB ID: 2269Remote Eligibility: On-SiteTravel Required: 0-10%Hourly/Salary: SalaryRelocation Available: Yes
