Under general supervision of the program manager, coordinates all activities and functions of the emergency management program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.
This Emergency Management Coordinator will be responsible for:
+ Supporting Emergency Management Department with all administrative tasks including, scheduling meetings, filing, and meeting preparation.
+ Participating in development and review for emergency response plans.
+ Assisting in development of reports and presentations for external departments.
+ Ensuring all department communications are grammatically correct, accurate, and professional.
+ Working effectively under time constraints to meet deadlines and manage a number of different tasks concurrently.
+ Participating in the annual Hazard Vulnerability Process (data capture, analysis, mitigation and planning efforts, etc.)
+ Collaborating with EM, other BCH departments and external partners to complete action items identified during hospital response.
+ Reporting status of projects and action items at monthly meetings.
+ Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all Emergency Management supplies and inventories (Command Center, HazMat, Evacuation, Med/Surge Stockpile, etc.)
+ Serving in a 24/7 On Call capacity, on a rotating basis.
To qualify, you must have:
+ Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
+ Requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
+ Previous project management experience preferred.
+ Strong communication skills (written and verbal and familiarity with MS office suite).

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:00PM) - Onsite Required
