Job Summary:
\r\n\r\n\r\nTo provide professional medical care to associates, conduct screenings, promote wellness among associates and perform assigned safety and health functions.
\r\n\r\n\r\nEssential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPromote and schedule wellness activities among associates
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nTreatment of associates for injuries/incidents, assist in trend analysis
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMonitor work related injuries; associates should be seen at a minimum of once per week
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nTrack Management Accountability Program
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nContact company physicians when necessary (restriction clarification, after hour emergencies, etc)
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAssist with new hire orientation and conduct new hire checks daily
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nConduct Drug and Alcohol tests as well as Random
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSchedule HazMat physicals
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAdminister RTW program
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMedical documentation data entry
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSchedule CPR/First aid training
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nConduct Audiometric testing
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nProduction floor presence weekly
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nInventory medical supplies as needed
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nParticipate in Health Fairs
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMaintain SDS books
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nParticipate in Shift Safety meetings and support Safety & Health goals
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of medical terminology
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWorking knowledge of medical equipment
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nClerical and computer skills, SAP, AS400, (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel)
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nExcellent attendance and personnel record
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nExcellent time management, organizational, written and verbal communication
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSelf - motivated team player
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nEducation & Experience:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n EMT Certification \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Additional Responsibilities: \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Perform other duties as assigned \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWorking Environment:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFrequent time in cold and wet industrial environment required
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMay require long periods of time on feet
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMay require a lot of walking
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMust be able to read reports, evaluate data, and use computer.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSome long hours and weekend work may be required.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPhysical Demands:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSpecific vision includes close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to distinguish colors.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFrequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
