Job Summary

Performs basic life support service and makes emergency response calls in accordance with the established Minnesota Department of Health Standards and following standing orders and ambulance protocols.  Serves as either a patient attendant or driver of the emergency vehicle.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  On the job training provided. Previous experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Must have a current Minnesota State Emergency Medical Technician ( EMT) certification and a current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.  Current Class C driver license in good standing.  CPI training recommended.

Work Schedule

PRN, as needed

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$17.50 - $23.00 per hour
