Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

ChristianaCare is currently seeking a Full-time EMT for our Pre-Hospital Transport Team. The Emergency Med Technician (EMT) assesses injuries and administers emergency medical care. The Critical Care Transport EMT acts as part of a team that includes a paramedic and registered nurse that provide care to critically ill and injured patient from a population including pediatric through geriatrics. The Critical Care Transport Team is part of our Pre-Hospital Services team. The EMT serves in a crucial role and provides important care to patients in our community. Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Successful completion of State of Delaware recognized EMT-Basic level.

Successful completion of an emergency vehicle operator’s course.

At least three years of previous experience as an EMT.

Hours:

This is a full time (80 hours per pay) position. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 1500 - 2300, no weekends, no holidays!
