This is a full-time position dedicated to emergency services. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess the clinical needs of patients in crisis where you begin their treatment and care in the emergency department. You will also work collaboratively with community partners to facilitate ED-to-inpatient and ED-to-ambulatory clinic care transitions.
You will help deliver effective, compassionate care with an eye toward referrals to the least restrictive setting in the context of an interdisciplinary team consisting of:
• Crisis Clinicians
• Social Works
• Emergency Medicine Providers
• Additional appropriate staff
Schedule expectations include 1 weekend per month and a combination of day shifts and early evening (typically until 8 pm). This role is physically located at Mercy Hospital and Mercy Hospital - Unity Campus with additional telehealth support for all regional sites as capacity allows.
