About The Position
The Supervisor, Incident Response is responsible for supervising and training the Distribution Operating Operations Associates, along with the maintenance and on-going growth of Missouri Energy Delivery’s Emergency Response Plans and the associated training and exercise regiments. This position works towards establishing key relationships with all Ameren Missouri Divisions. In doing so, provides support, and communicates clear and comprehensive plans, and scheduling, coordinating, and training throughout Missouri Customer Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervise and train clerical employees and coordinate their work for Distribution Operating. Maintain knowledge of systems (ADMS, TRIS, OAS, ARCOS, Maximo, etc.) and processes applicable to operations.Perform annual periodic reviews of the employee performance and attendance records.Lead department personnel responsible for ongoing operations support activities, including customer survey callbacks.Foster a culture of safety and zero unsafe acts by championing safety efforts, achieving safety objectives, and ensuring that safety is a value of every co-worker.Understand, support, and promote operation and maintenance activities with customers, contractors, and other company departments during major service interruptions or other incidents.Contribute as part of a team, or individually, to develop and conduct incident response training across the Ameren Missouri organization.Serve as a member of the Ameren Missouri incident response organization, serving in any of several specific roles within the response structure.During periods of incident response, the Supervisor, Incident Response will be expected to travel to the Emergency Operations Center at any time of the day or night in any circumstances to take part in the activation of the Incident Management Team (IMT), or to travel to any of the Ameren Missouri operating centers.Schedule and track resource commitments relative to combined Storm Role assignments; maintain training records.Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.Participate as part of a team to develop, conduct, and evaluate incident response exercises within the Ameren Missouri organization.Administer and manage content on the Ameren Missouri Emergency Operations SharePoint and other associated tools.Call-out, overtime, and shift work is required for incidents, major service interruptions, and other project work.QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required. Five or more years of relevant experience (e.g., distribution, construction services, etc.) required. Seven or more years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Supervisory or team / contractor leadership experience preferred. Experience with emergency response plans preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS) and application to project work. Proficiency with project construction schedules. Excellent problem solving, leadership, management, analytical, communication and human relations skills. Must be adaptable and flexible and work well under pressure. Working knowledge of ADMS, TRIS, OAS, ARCOS, and Maximo systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Be a productive team player and must also be comfortable working independently. Experience managing multiple priorities and the ability to refocus and reprioritize as department needs require. Be available for on-call support or after-hours emergencies. Ability to travel within the Ameren territory is required.

Compensation Range:
$69,300.00 - $133,900.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant’s credentials.
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
