Emergency Response Team- Paramedic
Paramedics IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Paramedics for Deployment Emergency Response Team – Contingent Worker We are looking for energetic and self-motivated Paramedics to support our Office of Emergency Services (OEM) when disaster strikes. When our nation calls, Paramedics on the deployment team will provide life-saving support and services at a moment’s notice, locally or across the nation, and work with other healthcare professionals focused on the same mission during an emergency. We’re hiring Paramedics that will support our Office of Emergency Management (OEM) on deployments on a contingent basis. Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients. Deployment Schedule 14-days deployment Regular schedule $35 hourly and $52.50 hourly overtime Responsibilities: Paramedics will assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given. Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed. Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles. Setting up and preparing the mobile operations. Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel. Ability to immediately travel for a no-notice event. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Minimum Required Qualifications: Certifications must be current, not “in process "and not “inactive." High school diploma or equivalent (GED) State Driver’s License State Paramedic certification Basic Life Support (BLS-Provider) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS – Provider) 2 Years Minimum Experience ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 Driving record compliant with company policy Pass Physical Agility Test 911 Emergency Experience (Preferred) NREMT-Paramedic (Preferred) Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider/PALS-Provider (Preferred) Why Choose AMR?
