Position Summary

The Emergency Services Technician offers an excellent opportunity in supporting patient care and covering administrative and clinical procedures. Working in collaboration across a team of practitioners, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences.

Responsibilities

You will assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitionerYou will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocolsCollaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reductionFoster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care teamAdvocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Requirements

High School Diploma or GEDCurrent Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C or successful completion of EMT Training CourseMA-P or EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within ninety 90) days of hireCNA, NA-R, or EMT will be required to obtain MA-P within a specified date determined by the region you work inCurrent BLS CertificationPrevious experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.33 - $30.41 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
