Our board-certified team of specialists, hospitalists, and emergency and critical care doctors work collaboratively to provide the best integrated veterinary care available. 

We are seeking a dedicated full-time daytime hospitalist to join our dynamic team. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work a 3-day workweek while enjoying a generous paid 6-weeks vacation (in addition to 1-week paid CE and 1 week paid sick time) per year.

As a hospitalist, you will manage inpatient cases with a variety of disease processes, such as trauma, toxicity, heart failure, and metabolic disorders, among others. You will be responsible for providing exceptional inpatient care to our ICU patients. Our hospitalists have the opportunity to perform surgery, if interested, but not required. Strong communication skills are crucial as you will interact with pet owners to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognosis in a compassionate and empathetic manner. You will have the opportunity to mentor and supervise interns. Collaboration with our experienced team of veterinary professionals and support staff will be essential to delivering the highest standard of care. Our highly collaborative in-house team consists of 10 emergency and critical care doctors as well as internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology and dentistry specialty services, as well as additional specialists available for support at our sister hospitals in San Diego and San Bernardino counties.

You’ll work with highly-trained colleagues and have advanced tools and treatments at your fingertips, including CT scanner, in house and point-of-care diagnostic laboratory, ultrasonography, echocardiography, digital radiology, endoscopy, blood product and donor program, and more, in our over 12,000 square foot hospital.

The salary range for this position is $180,000-$220,000.
