Requirements for the Role:
Minimum of 1 year working as a veterinary assistant, preferably in emergency medicine.An understanding and experience with basic veterinary assistant knowledge, including restraint with obtaining radiographs, induction and recovery of anesthesia, and all aspects of patient care.Knowledge of surgical procedures, surgical instruments, excellent aseptic technique, cleaning, sterilizing (steam and gas), wrapping, and storing surgical instruments.Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members, and the ability to multi-task and work well in a high-volume, busy practice.
