Emerging Sales Executive
Our client offers software solutions for the private capital markets. They specialize in helping general partners (GPs), limited partners (LPs), venture capital firms, private equity firms, and fund administrators manage their relationships, track investments, and streamline workflows. Their products are designed to improve operational efficiency, investor engagement, and data transparency.
 
They are growing their sales team and are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Account Executive to join their high-growth organization. With a proven track record of success, the company has established itself as a leader in investor relations, fundraising management, and portfolio monitoring. As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within the private equity, venture capital, real estate, and hedge fund markets. You will be responsible for managing the sales process, from initial prospecting to closing, and ensuring a smooth transition for post-sale account management.
 

Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Generate revenue and find new qualified opportunities monthly through personal outreach, supplemented by marketing and BDR support. Develop and execute a territory strategy, targeting key geographic regions Sales Process Execution: Manage the full sales cycle, with a focus on shortening deal cycles through effective discovery and value selling. Leverage MEDDPICC methodology to qualify prospects, identify key stakeholders, and build compelling ROI-driven business cases. Present tailored solutions that address client challenges, focusing on investor relations, fundraising, and portfolio monitoring use cases. Client Relationship Building: Engage with key decision-makers, including heads of investor relations, COOs, and operations leaders. Navigate complex sales environments to overcome inertia and drive change within prospective organizations. Collaboration and Cross-Functionality: Partner with marketing, solutions consultants, and BDR teams to optimize lead generation and pre-demo preparation. Work closely with Customer Success (CS) and Account Management teams to ensure seamless handoffs after the first year of client onboarding. Sales Enablement and Technology: Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Navigator, PitchBook, and Rev for account scoring and pipeline management. Contribute to refining sales processes and best practices to align with the company’s broader growth strategy.
What Success Looks Like:
Fully ramped quota attainment of $700K-800K annually. Consistent generation of high-quality opportunities, leading to significant new logo bookings. Average deal size of $40K-50K, with the potential for six-figure contracts. Demonstrated ability to shorten sales cycles and achieve meaningful results through strategic discovery and consultative selling. Development of strong, long-term client relationships, contributing to above 100% net revenue retention (NRR).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience: Proven track record in SaaS sales, ideally within the private capital markets or adjacent industries. Experience with similar ACVs and multi-stakeholder deals is a plus. Sales Methodology Expertise: Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar frameworks for managing complex sales cycles. Skills: Exceptional discovery, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills; strong ability to articulate ROI and value propositions. Attributes: Grit, hunger, and a proactive approach to business development; thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Geography: Located in or near key markets such as San Francisco, New York, Chicago, or Denver. Tech Savvy: Comfortable using advanced sales and marketing tools to optimize performance and collaboration.
