**Job Description:**
**What You'll Do**
The Emerging Talent Intern Program Manager plays a pivotal role in designing, creating, and implementing a comprehensive internship program for our emerging talent population. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including Program Managers, Learning & Development, Operations, and Human Resources to design, plan, and implement a comprehensive internship program that aligns with Discover’s goals and values. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
**How You'll Do It**
**Engagement and Development**
+ Collaborate with Emerging Talent Program Managers and learning and development teams to integrate skill-building activities and create an environment that fosters professional growth and learning.
+ Foster a sense of community among the interns through networking events, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.
**Cross-Collaboration**
+ Collaborate with Program Managers and Emerging Talent team members to understand internship needs and align program objectives with organizational goals.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR and Learning and Development, to align internship initiatives with broader organizational strategies.
**Clear** **Communication**
+ Provide clear communication to internsregarding program expectations, milestones, and opportunities for growth. This includes information and communication related to onboarding.
+ Act as the main point of contact for interns and respective program managers – addressing inquiries, providing support, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the internship period.
+ Regularly update internal stakeholders on the progress of the internship program.
**Learning Journey and Delivery**
+ Assist in the delivery of the learning journey for interns and rotational program participants.
+ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program, making continuous improvements based on feedback and results.
+ Support other aspects of the Emerging Talent Team as needed, contributing to the overall success of talent development initiatives.
**Feedback and Data Analysis**
+ Collect and analyze data related to the internship program, identifying areas for improvement – implementing changes as needed.
+ Prepare regular reports for leadership, summarizing key metric and program outcomes.
**Qualifications You'll Need**
**The Basics**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field
+ 4+ years of experience in Recruiting or related field
+ In lieu of education, 6+ years of experience in Recruiting or related field

**Bonus Points If You Have**
+ 6+ years of experience in campus recruiting and/or working with student populations
+ Experience designing and delivering internship and/or programs for student populations
+ Working knowledge of Gen Z career drivers and preferences
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Effective organizational and time management skills

**Compensation:**
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $77,500.00 to $131,500.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
