This includes physical grid equipment and IT infrastructure working across the SCE enterprise to integrate new technology that drives progress toward a smarter grid and cleaner energy future. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future? **Responsibilities** + Develops long-term vision and strategic roadmap for emerging technologies acquisition & implementation project management job position competency. + Builds relationships with business partners to identify key integration points for successfully incorporating emerging technologies and strategies into normal business operations. + Oversees workforce in managing the implementation of emerging technologies and strategies for business operations. Plans and coordinates project assignments, involving relevant stakeholders, and ensures timely progress of technical deliverables. + Manages a portfolio of emerging technologies driving regular portfolio reviews with senior leadership for alignment on priority emerging technology projects within stakeholder groups. + Manages projects through technology stage gate milestones and governance required for emerging technology and strategy to be integrated and handed to business units. + Ensures direct reports' project management strategies, methods, plans and stakeholder engagement are valid and aligned with delivering emerging technology and strategy to business units. + Drive adoption of innovative project and program management methodologies and approaches to advance technology development, integration, and deployment. + Provides coaching and mentoring on emerging technology projects and program management best practices and development of technical acumen. + A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. **Minimum Qualifications** + Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management + Experience managing a project portfolio and ongoing optimization of resources. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree or higher in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination or education, training, and experience. + Experience managing process improvement initiatives between multiple business units. + Experience establishing project performance metrics, tracking success, and reporting through dashboards. **Additional Information** + This position’s work mode is **hybrid.** The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
