What You'll Do

As Business Development Senior Manager, you will be part of the EMESA Business Development Team, driving the regional agenda across a broad range of topics aiming for a sustainable business growth. These include investments, pricing and revenue management, commercial support, competitive intelligence monitoring, account management and development, and rolling out special projects across our geo systems in the region, supporting the Regional Management/Leadership Teams in multiple strategic workstreams.

 

In this role you will provide support to the team, leading one of the vertical areas of the team which focuses on “Account Management & Development”, in addition to rolling out Special Projects. You will contribute to the content development of new concepts, guidelines, tools, and programs, as well as have the chance to deploy and track key initiatives, contributing to the implementation of global initiatives at EMESA level.

 

These are some of the key areas of responsibility that you would be leading:

 

Client prioritization: drive the regional processes of client segmentation (notably EMESA Focus Clients List) in coordination with systems and practices areas and in alignment with global frameworks.EMESA Growth Board: lead the agenda to manage this leadership body in the region, including design, composition and purpose. Drive the agendas for the meeting forums, conduct pulse checks and develop initiatives to support an effective engagement of this group.Strategic impact movers and growth vectors: implement processes and tools to monitor the key priority topics in our offering defined by the leadership as the growth engines for the year (i.e. impact movers) and track progress regularly. Understand key strategic priorities in the region and support the “think tank” mindset to foster their deployment.Relationship Excellence (REx): develop and implement initiatives, tools and best practices to enhance commercial ability to nurture client relationships, supporting business growth.Proposal Excellence (PEx): develop and implement initiatives, tools and best practices to strengthen client engagement and drive high quality proposals, improving our ability to win in the market.CCO Enablement and Governance: deploy process and tools to support our MDPs in their CCO role in our clients. Design the role of the CCO, rotation guidelines in the role, measure KPIs, track existing portfolio and contribute to improving the management of the cohort. Organize peer-sharing forums and programs, and lead and shape new initiatives for capability uplift and best practice sharing.Account development best practices: enhance commercial discipline / client service \"must-haves\" (client planning/reviews, value proofs, client interviews, client feedback, Year End letters, etc).Learning and Development: design and implement training initiatives linked to the above agenda (in collaboration with People’s team L&D function), to upskill MDPs, Partners, Principals and Project Leaders on commercial skills.Special projects: develop and implement global and regional ad-hoc initiatives to support the business development agenda across the region, including also specific deep dive efforts in any particular country of our scope.Reporting: Account Development tableau dashboards, KPI monitoring.

 

You will be responsible for ensuring best practice sharing, supporting the overall regional processes, upskilling current practices and rolling out new projects, refining principles, monitoring and measuring progress, preparing reporting to the management team, as well as working with Practice Areas and local Business Development Teams to ensure our initiatives are effectively deployed. Through analyzing the evolution of business development KPIs you will ensure continuous improvement towards our strategies and ambitions.

 

You will be also involved in the preparation of ad hoc documents and analyses for the regional leadership teams, including content creation for the Worldwide Officer Meeting (WWOM), Leadership Team meetings and Townhalls held regularly.



What You'll Bring

Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field of expertise.Experience: minimum of 4 years of professional experience in management consulting (either on the consulting track or non-client facing support functions) or in finance / business development / sales departments (or other similar fields).Accountability and Ownership: Ability to independently manage your modules of work while contributing to the broader regional business development agenda.Organizational and Project Management Skills: Exceptional organization, planning, and follow-through with a high degree of accountability. Able to prioritize, able to tolerate ambiguity.Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze complex problems while keeping the broader picture in focus, identifying key levers for impactful outcomes.Stakeholder Interaction: Proven ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders, in a complex matrix organization. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an international environment with people at all organizational levels.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, concise messaging. Fluency in English.Multitasking and Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment.Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills is required.Exercises judgment in handling confidential/sensitive information.

Who You'll Work With

You will be a leader within the EMESA Business Development Team, working closely with the regional Business Development Executive Director and EMESA Chief of Staff. You will be interacting regularly with the Global Client Team, Regional / Local Finance teams and System Business Development Chairs, and Practice Area teams, with a diverse range of stakeholders across geographies and functions.
