Responsibilities
Full Time OpportunityMonday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30 pm & On Call

This position is responsible for providing Neurological Diagnostics procedures in all patient care areas including NCS/EMG. Assess diagnostics needs of patients and works under medical supervision operating sophisticated medical equipment.

Recognizes clinically significant events and follows facility policy and procedures regarding critical test resultsCommunicates appropriately and effectively with the patient to convey the purpose of the NCS and answers questions regarding the test as well as with higher level personnelPerforms standard and complex electroencephalographic recordingsKeeps equipment in a clean operating condition. Troubleshoots and repairs minor malfunctions in the equipment.  Initiates repair of malfunctioning equipmentTransports patients, maintaining safety and comfortPractices strict ethical enforcement of protected medical and employee confidentialityAuthorized to make entries in the medical record, consistent with and limited to the scope of the job duties and any applicable licensure

BLS through American Heart Association certification is required upon hire
