We are looking for a Test Engineer with expertise in aerospace industry test standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience in EMI and environmental testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Pay: $75,000 - $95,000 Annually
Top 3 Must Haves:
Knowledge of aerospace industry test standards (RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461).Experience with EMI testing (radiated and conducted emissions, susceptibility, pin injection, electrical power quality, and transients).Proficiency in environmental tests (temperature, shock, and vibration).Key Responsibilities:
Test Plans and Procedures: Write detailed test plans and procedures in accordance with RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461.Support Equipment Definition: Define and specify necessary support equipment for tests, including wiring harnesses, electrical interfaces, vibration fixtures, and instrumentation.Test Planning and Execution: Plan, conduct, and evaluate tests to ensure compliance with required standards.Data Management: Collect and analyze data methodically to present findings to customers and management.Communication: Regularly update Engineering Managers and Program Managers on testing status.Coordination: Coordinate test witnessing and schedules with customers and test facilities.Supervision: Supervise outside laboratory tests as necessary.Reporting: Write comprehensive test reports summarizing test results and compliance.Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.Experience: Minimum of three years of related experience in aerospace testing.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
