JOB DUTIES
Processes immunization forms obtained by upload, e-mail or mail by checking record for proper information, entering information into database, and maintaining copies of the forms. Oversees student compliance to State and University immunization requirements for over 5,000 students in addition to visiting students, all with differing requirementsNotifies students when further immunizations are needed via secure patient portal. Enters and maintains immunization medicalWorks closely with Immunization coordinators and Immunization nursesCommunicates with students regarding immunization compliance status.Maintain knowledge with Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions and ServicesAssists new and returning students with understanding immunization requirements.Maintains all immunization documentation and review for compliance.Contacts/liaisons outside of the University.Assist students, parents and visitors with immunization related questions and issues.Oversees and generate immunization information, correspondence, and automated immunization notifications.Responds to group email box immunization inquiries.Oversees the completion of data input and filing of immunization documentation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or equivalent. One year of data entry experience. The ability to keyboard or type 45 accurate words per minute
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
One year (1-year) of experience related to the data entry in a health-related field
NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
