Employee Benefits Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Benefits Analyst to join our team!  The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and administer employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with employees and vendors. You may also be cross-trained to work in other teams depending on business need.

In this role you will:

Set up client services and policies, including binding coverages, new business implementations and managing renewal submissions.Answer benefit/eligibility questions.Administer and manage employee benefits programs through client selected Benefit Administration tool.Ensure accurate and timely renewal enrollment, changes, and terminations of employee benefits.Coordinate with insurance carriers and vendors to resolve issues and ensure effective plan administration.Continuously review and improve benefits administration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with carriers, payroll vendors, HR, and IT departments to ensure seamless integration and data integrity.Review and deliver carrier contracts, documents, and agreements according to schedule, ensuring new carrier implementations are completed with accuracy and in a timely manner.Support client needs regarding issues of compliance, legislation, health care reform, due diligence, HRA’s and HSA’s. Communicate effectively with vendors, clients and other company personnel.Ensure the protection and security of a consumer’s personal, confidential, and identifiable information in a professional and responsible manner, according to the standards and requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).Contribute to overall team goals, objectives and change management.  Participate in weekly review meetings, sharing individual best practices.

Expertise we desire:

At least three (3) years of experience preferably in the insurance industry in Employee Benefits with a Brokerage firm or Insurance carrier or other commensurate experience.Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and applicable database programs.  Ability to conduct research.Valid Life & Health Insurance license or ability or obtain one within 3 months of employment.
