Employee Communications Manager

The Role

Support key programmes, transformations and change initiatives at Carnival UK, acting as a strategic partner to develop and manage communications campaigns, project plans and learning design.

You will:

Leads, develops and maintains the Internal Communications editorial agenda (through writing, editing, proofreading, curating and commissioning content as appropriate) to drive priority messaging in line with business priorities Plan, develop and own compelling plans and communication strategies for programmes and change initiatives, showcasing analytical and problem-solving skills.  Produce engaging content in a variety of formats including video, photography, design, digital and print. Where needed, briefing and managing external agencies and suppliers involved in the production of communication  Engage with programme teams to develop clear, concise, and engaging communications, aligned to wider organisational objectives 


Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full time, fixed term contract basis until February 2025, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, including up to 2 days from home.

Demonstrable experience of delivering effective change communications in a corporate environment Excellent stakeholder management skills, demonstrating comfort and proficiency in engaging with senior stakeholders. Excellent writing and verbal communications skills - able to put complex messages into clear and engaging language. Ability to engage directly with project managers, sponsors, people managers, employees, and business leads to implement and execute effective change plans.
