Your New Role…


Warner Bros. Discovery is searching for an Employee Connection Senior Specialist to join the Global Business Services (GBS) People & Culture (P&C) Operations team, supporting our EMEA P&C teams.

This role is based in Leavesden (Watford)/ London, and will be a key player, regularly interacting with employees to support and address their P&C Services-related requests. The Senior Specialist will support a wide range of processes during the employees’ lifecycle and be expected to be highly independent and proactive in identifying and implementing positive changes and improvements to deliver a great employee experience aligned with our culture. 

Your Role Accountabilities…

Analyse, capture, respond to, and resolve P&C pay, absence, policy, benefits, employee data, and various other types of requests from employees, managers, and other customers leveraging ServiceNow (SNOW) Case Management.

Respond to SNOW tickets within appropriate Service Level Agreements set forth by the department.

Process employee data transactions within Workday and maintain ongoing data changes throughout the employee lifecycle.

Prepare employment contracts and other related documents, information related to company benefit payments, and respond to employment verification requests.

Manage and maintain employee files, both paper and electronic, and support and guide employees and managers on how to complete self-service transactions as required.

Audit P&C systems to ensure correct information has been input and processed, and ensure processes achieve full compliance with policy and control environment, responding to requests for audits and government inspections in coordination with EC Management.

Process data correction requests from the field or as a result of internal audits, and work with P&C to identify issues and make corrections to employee data.

Review and prep data for mass data loads, analyse the data for completeness and sensibility before handing over to the HRIS team for processing, and support P&C related purchase orders (PO) process.

Assist EC colleagues with the payroll process to ensure that the information provided to payroll is accurate and all requests are entered timely and focus on ongoing process improvements and lead EC related projects for the respective country.

Provide support to colleagues in Employee Connection as needed or during peak periods and assist to onboard and train new team members.

Qualifications & Experience…

Experience: Human Resources administrative or related experience required, preferably from a global shared services environment. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use confidential information appropriately.

Language Requirements: Must be fluent in English and fluency in other European languages preferred.

Technical Skills: Experience with Workday HR/payroll or other SaaS payroll and ServiceNow or other case management/knowledgebase tools strongly preferred with ability to quickly learn new technology and software programmes.

Relationship Management: Strong relationship skills. Experienced in building and maintaining effective collaborations.

Process Management: Skilled in process improvements and problem solving, taking initiative to own work projects/tasks. Ability to manage ad hoc high-volume activities in a fast-paced environment independently.

Organisational Skills: Excellent planning, time management, prioritisation, and follow-up skills. Has strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Communication: Exceptional communication and customer service skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly at all levels. Must have flexible and adaptable attitude to cope with fast changing and complex environment.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
