The ES GOC Employee Data Team is looking for a Workday-savvy data expert to join as an Employee Data Process Lead. This role will focus on Workday HCM, EIB processing, HR data integrity, quality control, and project management, ensuring seamless and accurate employee data processes.
Responsibilities:
• Recommend and implement enhancements to the Workday system to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Identify solutions to support evolving business priorities and centralize testing of all configuration changes.
• Lead and coordinate end-to-end UAT for Workday updates, ensuring security access, business processes, and EIB mass loads function as expected.
• Support testing, configuration, and implementation of new projects, enhancements, and system integrations.
• Act as a strategic partner to global stakeholders, ensuring seamless employee experiences for high-visibility programs.
• Maintain and update documentation for new and existing business processes.
• Investigate and resolve issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Stay updated on Workday releases and challenge existing decisions to optimize Workday functionality for a global organization.
• Serve as a technical SME, ensuring data integrity, global standardization of key processes, and analyzing Workday transactions.
• Lead or contribute to multiple projects as the Workday Data SME.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, queries, and metrics to provide actionable insights into HR data, aligned with reporting governance.
• Analyze data audits to identify and implement improvements in data quality.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of progressive experience working in an HRIS system (Workday required).
• Expertise in Workday HCM module and EIB processing.
• Strong understanding of HR data, its usage, audits, and quality control measures.
• Proficiency in HR processes, policies, and programs.
• Excellent data storytelling skills—translating complex data insights into clear, impactful presentations for stakeholders.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, working with large datasets and advanced formulas.
• Strong problem-solving skills—able to identify hidden issues and develop effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with comfort in presenting to senior leadership.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and system integrity.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ability to handle highly sensitive data with integrity.
