Employee Development Specialist
Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital's (NVRH) Human Resources Department seeks an experienced Employee Development Specialist. The Employee Development Specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for all NVRH employees. This role is crucial in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our hospital-wide staff through effective training programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about employee growth and development, ensuring all employees have the tools to excel. **Roles and Responsibilities:** + **Training Program Development:** Design and implement tailored training programs for hospital staff, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals. + **Needs Assessment & Evaluation:** Conduct assessments to identify training needs and skill gaps and monitor program effectiveness through feedback and performance evaluations. + **Instructional Design & Delivery:** Create engaging instructional materials and lead diverse training sessions, accommodating various learning styles for maximum engagement. + **Collaboration & Compliance:** Work with department leaders to ensure training programs meet hospital policies and regulatory standards, maintain accurate records, and report on training outcomes. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories. Strong computer skills are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
