Compensation Amount:
20.75 USD HourlySplit time between employee transport driver and warehouse worker. Transport employees in 14 passenger van on a regular basis to Seattle/Tacoma International Airport for arrival days and after employees complete their work season. Pick up and transport employees on a regular basis for recreation activities outside the park including trips to Puyallup, Tacoma, Seattle, and elsewhere. Warehouse responsibilities include controlling warehouse inventory; including counting, processing, data entry, and distribution. Assist as needed in laundry. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Safely drive non-DOT regulated truck and 14 passenger van on a daily basis.
Drive a vehicle over specified routes or to specified destinations adhering strictly to time schedules, complying with traffic regulations and state laws to ensure that passengers have a smooth and safe ride.
Enforce and comply with company and DOT safety policies and laws for everyone in the vehicle.
Assume responsibility for the safety and security of passengers/goods during transport.
Perform vehicle pre-trip safety inspection such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation and maintain vehicle trip log.
Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs/maintenance to management immediately.
Report all delays and accidents to management immediately. Complete accident reports when necessary.
Communicate with RGS by radio, telephone, or computer to exchange information and receive requests for passenger service (In compliance with HR Policies #417).
Must comply with Guest Services’ HR Policies #417 and #916.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline/propane, oil, and water.
Safely load product, laundry, and recycling onto and off of truck, often unassisted.
Maintain food temperature log of food supplies transported in vehicles.
Assist in warehouse and laundry unit duties as needed.
Perform such other related duties as directed or required.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required; some college preferred.
Current US driver license with clean driving record required.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail required.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
Lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. Occasionally.
Able to drive a large vehicle, sit and stand for extended periods.
Able to safely drive vehicle up winding mountain roads between multiple units in the park.
Able to climb steps regularly sometimes while carrying heavy load.
Withstand temperature extremes in freezer, refrigerator walk-in, warehouse, and outside environment.
Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of vendors, drivers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly to be understood by same in English. Able to read and write work-related documents in English.
Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
EQUIPMENT USED
Non-DOT regulated truck, 14 passenger van, hand truck, pallet jack, rolling cart, radio.
Typical office equipment (computers, phone system, fax, copiers, scanners, among others.).
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used: goggles, latex and rubber gloves.
