What You’ll Be Doing 

 
Reporting to the Director, Employee Engagement & Partnerships and Senior Manager, Employee Engagement & Partnerships the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, execution and maintenance of CIBC’s One for Change employee giving and volunteering program and various charity partners relationships and campaigns. The role will support community partnerships, and associated employee engagement and client opportunities across all areas of CIBC with operational excellence, efficiencies, consistent branding and professionalism.

The Employee Engagement Co-op is responsible for engaging employees and community partners in the journey to drive employee pride and consideration for our organization.  Responsible for deepening relationships with employees and community partners through simplified experiences and creating frictionless programs to build momentum and inspire internal culture and external praise.  This role supports CIBC’s ambitions to be a good corporate citizen and drive community and social impact by developing deep and mutually beneficial relationships with community partners and charities.

Important Information

Duration of term: 8 month opportunity (May 2025 – December 2025).You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-op program to be considered for this role.You are a university student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.You have a strong knowledge of MS Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word.You must be legally eligible to work within Canada.Please include your resume (no more than 2 pages), a cover letter (no more than 1 page), and your most recent unofficial transcript with your application.  How You’ll Succeed 



Administration - Manage administrative activities in support of the Employee Engagement & Partnerships team using independent judgment, confidentiality and diplomacy. Support the facilitation, organization, planning, relationships, tracking and monitoring of the CIBC Volunteer Program. Support corporate grant making by tracking, reporting and using internal grants database. Lastly, participate in external research on corporate social responsibility, ESG and fundraising best practices and trends
Communication - Draft internal social media content supporting charitable partnership and the One for Change employee giving and volunteering program
Tracking, Reporting and Analysis - this role will be responsible for managing and analyzing the reporting/tracking of whichever campaigns and key relationships he/she/they supports throughout the duration of the term
Project Support and Partnerships -  Liaise with internal sources, business partners, and third parties as required. Work with team members to support activities and overall project plan/delivery for key campaigns.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• This role operates within a normal office environment with little exposure to adverse working conditions.
