**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
An Employee Engagement Specialist fosters a positive workplace culture by developing and implementing initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and connection to company values. They organize engagement programs, gather employee feedback, support internal communications, and collaborate with leadership to drive a culture of inclusivity, recognition, and continuous improvement. Their goal is to boost morale, retention, and overall productivity through meaningful employee experiences.
**PERFORMANCE COMPETENCIES:**
**A. ADMINISTRATIVE COMPETENCIES.**
1. Performs administrative duties (answer the HR phone, assist walk-ins, print flyers etc.) and special projects to enhance culture and engagement
2. Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive material or information related to staff members or Hospital/Department operations.
3. Monitor and prepare employee engagement survey data to present to members of Senior Management. Work in tandem with Human Resources to assist departments in preparation for annual engagement surveys.
4. Continually monitor internal feedback from employees & leaders to ensure we are providing the best experience possible.
5. Drive the strategic direction of experiences and events, including management of events, implementation of new experiences and oversight of budget and deadlines.
6. Responsible for ordering/coordinating events, venues, prizes, banquet as needed for each event held throughout the year as directed by HRVP and/or Senior Management Team.
7. Collects and assembles data for various projects as assigned.
8. Work closely with HR business partners in implementing and enhancing programs supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds on a diverse team.
9. Handles contacts with vendors tactfully and professionally. Maintains a professional work ethic, appearance and demeanor.
10. Supportive of the Ethics and Compliance programs set forth by HCA demonstrated by:
a. Upholds code of conduct.
b. Enforces all ethics and compliance policies as they pertain to his/her area.
c. Demonstrates excellent customer service at all times.

9. Prepares required flyers, announcements, reports, agenda, and calendars with a high degree of accuracy.

**Position Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ One (1) to three (3) years’ experience with hospital, healthcare, and/or, professional office setting.

+ Working Hazards or Risks - Potential for musculoskeletal injuries related to moving and working with files and office equipment.
